June 14 falls on a Sunday this year, which is precisely why it is such an important day for the feminist strike: work continues even on Sundays—in the form of paid and unpaid, and sometimes voluntary, care and domestic work—which is mostly performed by women.

On this day, we will demonstrate the power of women and advocate for the rights of minorities and for gender equality. Together with you, we will fight against discrimination and violence and call instead for a peaceful and feminist future.
